Christian Stamm

Christian Stamm is in his second season as an assistant coach in 2025-26.

Stamm brings years of expertise in sprints, hurdles, and jumps to the Mighty Macs track and field program. From 2018-24, Stamm was the head men’s and women’s track and field coach at Wilmington University in Delaware. Stamm was responsible for all aspects of establishing, building, and running the NCAA Division II program. When it comes to sprints, Stamm finds himself enjoying coaching and mentoring his athletes in a positive manner.

During his time at Wilmingtown, Stamm led both the men’s and women's team to several first (men’s team 2023), second, and third place finishes in their conference championships. On top of leading his team some conference titles, he also managed to produce 18 individual conference champions, 19 NCAA Division II All-Eastern Region Athletes, 3 All-Eastern Region Relay team, 4 All-ECAC athletes, 4 All-IC4A athletes, 1 NCAA National Qualifier, 1 CACC Men’s Track and Field Rookie of the Year (2024), and 1 CACC Womens Field Rookie of the year (2023). Stamm also won the 2022 and 2023 CACC Coach of the Year award, and the 2023 and 2024 CACC Team Sportsmanship Award.

Before Wilmington, Stamm was an assistant coach at Methacton High School from 2008-13, when he ultimately took over the program and became the head coach from 2013-16.

During his time at Methacton, Stamm produced a 30-6 Pioneer Athletic Conference Team record over the span of four seasons. During those four seasons, his team finished in second place at the PAC Championships every year. While leading the team, athletes were able to set new records in every event. Stamm produced 19 national qualifiers, 24 PIAA state qualifiers, 29 PIAA District 1 qualifiers, and 16 Conference Champions. In 2013, he also lead a freshman 4x100m relay to win and set a new meet record at Penn Relays.

Additionally, Stamm possesses several USATF and USTFCCCA certifications in the following areas:
  • USTFCCCA Speed Specialist Certification
  • USTFCCCA Track and Field Strength and Conditioning Certification
  • USATF Level 2 Coaching Certification in Jumps, Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays
