Alumnae Hall

Alumnae Hall

Alumnae Hall, which opened in 1970, is the center of recreational and athletic needs for Immaculata’s students, faculty and staff. The main gym in Alumnae Hall houses Immaculata’s volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball teams. While a smaller recreational gym connected to the main gym, deep-water pool and weight room, equipped with the latest equipment, are also housed in Alumnae Hall.

The 400-seat main gymnasium most recently played hosted to the 2008 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Championship Game, where Immaculata defeated Gwynedd-Mercy to advance to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament for the first time. Earlier in its history, Alumnae Hall was home to Immaculata’s three-time AIAW national champion women’s basketball squads (1972-74).

The facility can also accommodate a wide range of individual and group recreational sports and fitness activities, including fitness and education classes, as well as offering a wide range of intramural programs.
