Men's Soccer Comes Up Short Against Moravian, 2-1

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Immaculata University men's soccer scored the first goal of the contest, but Moravian College rallied for two goals to defeat the visitors in non-conference action Saturday afternoon by a 2-1 margin.
 
Matt Dunn scored the opening goal unassisted for the early 1-0 Immaculata lead in the 35th minute. The Mighty Macs lead however would last just three minutes as the Greyhounds netted the equalizer in the 38th minute.  
 
The two teams were netted at one goal each at halftime, but 11 minutes into the second half, Moravian scored the go-ahead tally.
 
Immaculata (0-2-1) was not able to find the back of the net to tie the contest as the Mighty Macs attempted just three shots during the second half.
 
Michael Thompson played all 90 minutes as Immaculata's goalkeeper making six saves.
 
Immaculata will play in front of the home crowd at Draper Walsh Stadium for the first time this season on Wednesday at 4 p.m. hosting Arcadia.
