Box Score RADNOR, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team made a return trip to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Semifinals, this time as the No. 4 seed, and they travelled to top-seeded Cabrini looking to deal them their first conference loss of the season, but the Mighty Macs (7-13) were unable to recover from a late first half goal and fell 3-0 to end their season.

Ashley O'Donnell led the team with two shots on goal while sophomore goalie
Sarah Pasternak made three saves in the cage. The Immaculata defense stood tall under heavy offensive pressure from the Cavaliers, but they were unable to keep them off the scoreboard.

For much of the first half, the Immaculata defense of
Cayla Williams,
Lynda Sheets,
Danielle Lopez, and
Haley O'Donnell did a great job clearing the ball and keeping the Cavaliers at bay, but Cabrini eventually broke through in the 31
st minute on a goal by the CSAC's leading scorer, Kerry Anne Farrell.

The Mighty Macs then had a great chance to tie the game in the waning moments of the first half when senior
Lindsay Cras hit a centering pass to freshman
Brooke Robinson, but she was unable to deflect it into the net to tie the game as the Mighty Macs went to halftime down 1-0.

Cabrini would build upon their lead in the 39
th minute on Farrell's second goal of the game and they later added their final tally in the 52
nd minute.

The Mighty Macs season comes to an end with a record of 7-13, one win shy of the school record, but they did set the record for goals scored with 49, shattering the former record of 38.
