Angel Chimal Rodriguez of the Immaculata University men's cross country team was named All-Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Saturday's NCAA regional championship meets.

Rodriguez led the pack for the Mighty Macs with a 34th-place individual finish out of 343 runners, running the 8K Mideast Regional course in a time of 25:55.8. It marks the first time an Immaculata men's cross country runner has earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors.

A total of 559 student-athletes (280 men and 279 women) earned the distinction by crossing the finish line among the top 35 individual finishers at one of the eight regional sites across the country.
