Mighty Macs Announce 2013 Men’s Soccer Schedule

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– A 10-game home schedule highlights Immaculata University's 2013 men's soccer schedule. The Mighty Macs' make their season debut on Fri., Aug. 30 when Immaculata hosts Alvernia for the 2013 opener.  
 
Following its opener against Alvernia, Immaculata plays six of its eight matches during the month of September at Draper Walsh Stadium as it rounds out the month with a five-game home stand to go into October.
 
After their opener, the Mighty Macs remain at home for their next two outings against Albright on Wed., Sept. 4 and face Moravian on Sat., Sept. 7. It will be the first time that Immaculata and Moravian have met on the soccer pitch.
 
The Mighty Macs play their first contest on the road on Wed., Sept. 11, traveling to Arcadia, starting what is a two-match road trip for Immaculata that concludes with a trip to DeSales on Sat., Sept. 14.
 
Immaculata then embarks on its longest home stretch of the season, five games, on Tue., Sept. 17, hosting Ursinus. Immaculata continues the run with its final two non-conference opponents of the season against Delaware Valley on Sat., Sept. 24, and Penn State Berks on Tue., Sept. 24.
 
The Mighty Macs' begin the CSAC slate on Thu., Sept. 26, hosting Baptist Bible, and the Mighty Macs cap the five-game home string against Cairn on Wed., Oct. 2.
 
Immaculata is back on the road for just one contest heading to Marywood on Sat., Oct. 5, before returning home for two more home dates to close out the home portion of the 2013 schedule.  
 
Immaculata returns home for its final two home contests of the 2013 campaign, hosting Centenary on Wed., Oct. 9, and then hosting Senior Day on Sat., Oct. 12, against Keystone.
 
The last four dates on Immaculata's schedule are all road contests. The Mighty Macs begin the stretch heading to Rosemont on Tue., Oct. 15 and then to Neumann on Sat., Oct. 19. Immaculata then faces 2012 CSAC champion and NCAA Tournament participant Cabrini on Wed., Oct. 23 before finishing the CSAC slate and regular season on the road at Gwynedd-Mercy on Tue., Oct. 29.
                                                                                                                          
The 2013 CSAC Championship will get underway with quarterfinal games at campus sites on Tue., Nov. 5. The semifinals will be held on Thu., Nov. 7, and the 2013 CSAC champion will be crowned on Sat., Nov. 9.
 
Immaculata looks to return to the conference postseason in 2013 after reaching the CSAC Tournament quarterfinals during the 2012 season. It marked the Mighty Macs' return to the conference tournament following a two-year absence.
