2013 Women's Soccer Schedule Released

SCHEDULE

IMMACULATA, Pa.-
The 2013 Immaculata women's soccer schedule has been released and it features a balanced schedule with nine road games and nine home games, including 11 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) matchups for the Mighty Macs.  Immaculata will play six of their 11 CSAC matches at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Mighty Macs get their season underway on August 30th with a road contest at Penn State-Abington.  This marks the first of seven non-conference games to start the season for the Mighty Macs as they gear up for conference play.  Immaculata will open their home schedule on September 4th with a game under the lights of Draper Walsh Stadium against Albright starting at 6:30 p.m.

The game with Albright marks the first of five home games that Immaculata will play in the month of September versus just three road contests.  After travelling to Elizabethtown on September 7th, the Mighty Macs will play host to Widener (9/10) and Richard Stockton (9/14) before closing out the non-conference schedule with road matches at Delaware Valley (9/17) and Arcadia (9/25) during the next week.

Immaculata will then enter the CSAC portion of their schedule where they will play 11 straight conference matches to close out the season.  The Mighty Macs will start CSAC play with back-to-back home games against Baptist Bible on Saturday, September 21st, followed by a game with Notre Dame on September 25th to close out the month.

To start October, Immaculata will play the toughest portion of their schedule with three consecutive road games in the span of six days at Neumann (10/2), at Cairn (10/5), ending with a trip to Cedar Crest (10/8).  Immaculata will then play four of their final six matches at home after the tough road trip.

The Mighty Macs host Marywood on the 12th of October followed by a trip to Cabrini on October 16th before back-to-back home games against Keystone (10/19) and Rosemont (10/22).  Immaculata will close out the road regular season schedule with a tilt against Centenary on October 26th before returning home on Halloween for Senior Night against Gwynedd-Mercy at 7 p.m.

The Mighty Macs will look to bounce back from a 3-12-2 campaign, which included a 3-6-2 record in conference play.  Immaculata eyes a postseason berth for the first time since 2010.

The CSAC playoffs kick off with quarterfinal action on November 4th, followed by the semifinals on the 6th, and the CSAC Championship on November 9th
