ASTON, Pa.- Immaculata University junior forward Leah Kuczynski was selected as the Colonial States Athletic Conference women's basketball honor roll for the week ending February 5. It marks the second time this season she has been recognized with weekly league accolades.
Kuczynski averaged 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Mighty Macs in a 1-1 week. In Wednesday's win over Neumann, she posted a game-high 24 points, going 10-for-11 from the field, while adding 11 rebounds, four blocks, and three steals.
In Saturday's defeat to CSAC-leading Gwynedd-Mercy, she posted 15 points, going 4-for-5 from the floor and 7-for-8 from the foul line. In the two games, the junior went 17-for-19 from the floor, good for an .895 shooting percentage.
Immaculata is back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Philadelphia Biblical University. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. against the Crimson Eagles.
