ROSEMONT, Pa.-Immaculata Women's tennis travelled to Rosemont this afternoon for a CSAC matchup and came away with a 6-3 victory to improve their record to 4-5 in the CSAC and 5-11 overall.

The Mighty Macs swept the doubles session to get the match started on the right foot.  Emily Degnan and Paige Sparks won a close 8-6 decision in the number one spot while Kara Trowbridge and Theresa Martini had an easier time with an 8-2 victory out of the second spot.  In the third slot, IU won by forfeit.

In the singles portion of the match, Julie Einwechter won by forfeit in the sixth slot while Ally Minton and Kara Trowbridge each won by 6-0, 6-0 counts.

The Mighty Macs will wrap up their season with a CSAC match this Saturday afternoon at 1 pm when they host Notre Dame University of Maryland.
