Immaculata Cross Country Announces 2010 Slate

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University announced the men’s and women’s cross country squad’s 2010 schedule on Monday. The regular season features six meets, commencing with the Delaware Valley Invitational on Sept. 4 and concluding with the Elizabethtown Invitational on Oct. 23. The Colonial States Athletic Conference Championships will follow the regular-season schedule on Oct. 30 in Gwynedd Valley, Pa., hosted by Gwynedd-Mercy.
The Mighty Macs open the season on Sept. 4 when they travel to the Delaware Valley Invitational. Immaculata will then travel to the Gwynedd-Mercy Invitational on Sept. 11 to preview the course for the conference championships.
Immaculata will compete at the Belmont Plateau on Sept. 25 as it takes part in the Philadelphia Metropolitans. The Mighty Macs will be in action the following Friday competing at the Lehigh Invitational on Oct. 1. Immaculata winds down the slate at the DeSales Invitational on Oct. 9, and finishes the regular season at the Elizabethtown Invitational on Oct. 23.
The Mighty Macs finish their 2010 slate taking part in the CSAC Championships on Oct. 30. The Immaculata men’s cross country team finished ninth at the conference championships in 2009, while the women’s squad placed eighth a season ago.
