2010 Immaculata Women’s Soccer Schedule Announced

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University's women's soccer team announced its 18-game regular season schedule, including eight home games, two of which will be played under the lights at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Mighty Macs open the season at home against Widener on Wed., Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. Immaculata has a balanced schedule during the opening month of the season with an equal about of home and road matches. 

Following its contest against the Pride, the Mighty Macs travel to DeSales on Sept. 4 and Albright on Sept. 8. IU is back in action at home against Haverford on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. before returning to the road on Sept. 13 at Lebanon Valley.

The Mighty Macs then play host to Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, Sept. 15, in their final tune-up before jumping into Colonial States Athletic Conference play.

Immaculata ushers in the CSAC slate and a seven-game league stretch on Sept. 18 when it travels to Keystone. The Mighty Macs host their first league match on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 6:30 p.m. when Neumann visits Draper Walsh Stadium.

IU concludes the first month of the season and hits the mid-way point of the schedule on Saturday, Sept. 25 hosting Centenary at 1 p.m., and rounds down the month on Sept. 29 at the College of Notre Dame.

The Mighty Macs are back at home for their next two contests, beginning with CSAC Tournament champion, Cabrini, on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m., and ending the short two-game homestand against Philadelphia Biblical on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m.

Immaculata is back on the road for its longest away stretch of the regular season beginning Oct. 9 at Baptist Bible. The Mighty Macs take a break from CSAC play on Oct. 13 at Penn State Berks, but resume conference play at Marywood on Oct. 16 to end the string.

The Mighty Macs' final home outing of the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 19, against Cedar Crest also marks their final nightcap at 6:30 p.m.

Immaculata's last two matches of regular season are trips to Ursinus (Oct. 123) and Gwynedd-Mercy (Oct. 26).

The 2010 CSAC Tournament gets underway with quarterfinal and semifinal games on Monday, Nov. 1, and Wednesday, Nov. 3, respectively. The CSAC championship match will be played on Saturday, Nov. 6, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
