ASTON, Pa. – Immaculata University placed 49 student-athletes on the fall 2009 Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by Amy Friedman, CSAC Commissioner, on Wednesday afternoon, February 3. The CSAC listed 528 student-athletes overall on the all-academic team who achieved the level of academic success necessary to be selected to the squad.
The Mighty Macs' women's soccer team placed the most members on the CSAC All-Academic Team with 12 members, while the field hockey team placed 10. Men's soccer and volleyball each placed nine and seven members on the team, respectively, and not far behind was women's tennis with five members. Men's and women's cross country rounded out the conference list with four members apiece, respectively.
To be eligible for the CSAC All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must meet the NCAA Division III eligibility requirements, earn varsity status in their respective sport and earn a minimum semester grade-point average of 3.2.
