Boyd Named To Final CSAC Weekly Honor Roll

ASTON, Pa. - Immaculata University men's basketball sophomore guard John Boyd was selected to the Colonial States Athletic Conference weekly honor roll for the week ending February 21. It marks the third weekly conference honor this season for the Trappe, Pa., native, as Boyd was previously selected to the honor roll on Jan. 17 and Feb. 7.
Boyd led Immaculata to a 1-1 mark in the league, including an 84-64 win at Rosemont. Boyd had 15 points and seven rebounds against the Ravens, and then poured in a game-high 21 points and team-leading six rebounds in a loss to Neumann. The sophomore was 61.5 percent from the field (8-13) against the Knights and sunk three three-pointers.
Immaculata returns to the court tonight, Feb. 22, hosting Gwynedd-Mercy in the CSAC Quarterfinals. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Alumnae Hall.
