ROSEMONT, Pa. – Immaculata placed four players in double figures as the Mighty Macs' men's basketball team defeated host Rosemont, 84-64, on Monday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.

Immaculata improves to 14-10 overall and 12-5 in the CSAC while Rosemont falls to 5-19 overall and 3-14 in the league.

Rosemont jumped ahead early 11-2 during the opening four minutes of the contest, but three straight buckets from Siter followed by a layup from Boyd trimmed the hosts lead to 11-10 by the 13:23 mark. Rosemont continued to hold the slight advantage until Barefield put up a layup that gave the Mighty Macs a 19-18 lead with 9:32 remaining before halftime.

The Mighty Macs led by just three (27-24) with 5:49 on the clock before the break when Immaculata went on a 12-4 run that gave the visitors their first double-figure lead of the night, 39-28, with 2:05 remaining. Immaculata would eventually hold a 41-30 lead at the intermission.

Rosemont trimmed the margin to nine three times during the first four minutes of the second half, but Immaculata’s lead quickly ballooned to 17 (55-38) with 13:10 left. Despite the Ravens’ attempts, they could not get the Mighty Macs’ lead back into single digits the rest of the way.
