BLUE BELL, Pa. - The Immaculata golf team finished second out of four teams with a 359 at the Gwynedd-Mercy Invitational Wednesday afternoon, but it was senior
Chris Ware who took home individual medalist honors.
Ware carded a round of 82, tying with Misericordia's Bucky Aeppli for the low round of the tournament. Misericordia won the team crown with a combined 353, just six strokes ahead of the Mighty Macs.
Rob Blair carded an 88 to place fifth in the field.
Sean Rowan signed for a 94 and
Jeff DiGiacomo finished with a 95, placing sixth and seventh, respectively.
Zack Robie rounded out the Immaculata contingent with a 98.
Delaware Valley finished third with a 402 and host Gwynedd-Mercy was fourth at 430.
Immaculata will be back on the greens Monday at the Cabrini Invitational in Royersford, Pa. Tee time is set for 1 p.m.
