Thomas And Ware Pick Up CSAC Honors

ASTON, Pa. - Immaculata's Tana Thomas and Chris Ware were honored by the Colonial States Athletic Conference at the conclusion of the league golf championships on Sunday. On Monday, the league office officially announced that Thomas was named the CSAC Coach of the Year, and Ware was honored as a member of the First Team All-CSAC.

Thomas has guided the Mighty Macs during the past four seasons, helping them to improve their conference finish during each season. This past weekend, Immaculata placed fifth at the CSAC Championships, their highest finish in Thomas' four years.

Ware earned recognition on the league's first team after finishing in a tie for third at the league championship. Ware carded a two-day total of 159, after signing for rounds of 75 and 84. Ware's first-round 75 is the lowest round during his IU career. He ends the season with an 82.6 stroke average over nine rounds.
