WALLINGFORD, Pa. - The Immaculata golf team placed third at the Tom Ruggieri Invitational III held by Widener University at The Springhaven Club on Thursday afternoon. The Mighty Macs shot a combined 362 on the par-70, 6,355 yard course.
Rob Blair set the pace for the Mighty Macs with an 85 to place fourth overall while
Chris Ware signed for an 88, good for sixth place.
Sean Rowan carded a 91,
Zack Robie shot a 98, and
Matt Introcaso round out the IU squad with a 119.
Cabrini won the team title with a 338 while host Widener was second at 359. The low individual score was a 79, shot by both the Cavaliers and the Pride.
Immaculata competes in the CSAC Championship this weekend, April 25 and 26 at West Chester's Broad Run Golf Club. The Mighty Macs will tee it off on Saturday at 1:20 p.m.
