Golf Finishes Third At Cabrini Invitational

ROYERSFORD, Pa. - The Immaculata University golf team finished third out of five teams competing at the Cabrini College Invitational Monday afternoon at the Spring-Ford Country Club. The Mighty Macs shot a combined 366 to finish just six strokes out of second place.

Rob Blair led the Mighty Macs carding a round of 90, placing eighth overall. Sean Rowan and Chris Ware each shot 91, tying for ninth place, and Zack Robie and Jeff DiGiacomo carded 94's.

The host Cavaliers captured the team title with a team score 338. Penn State Berks was second at 360. Fellow CSAC schools Baptist Bible (369) and Gwynedd-Mercy (405) rounded out the field in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Cabrini's Tim Harner and Chris Lawler tied for the low round of the afternoon after shooting 82.

Immaculata will see another opponent from the CSAC on Wednesday when it travels to the Neumann Invitational.
